Matthew Sheu is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. He holds Master’s Degrees in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and International Business, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dr. Sheu began his studies in TCM back in Taiwan in 1980s under the tutelage of his grandfather, Yen-Liu Sheu, a self-taught Chinese medicine practitioner who opened an herbal pharmacy specializing in ophthalmology and infertility. Dr Sheu was trained in feng shui, magnetic/energy fields, Taoism, and Buddhism and their healing potentials. Together with his industry consulting experience, this background enables Dr Sheu to have a unique perspective on natural healing with an emphasis in psychotherapy.

In 2004, Dr. Sheu became a disciple of and was certified as Medical Qigong Expert by Master Zhao Xue-Zhong, an internationally renowned Qi Gong Master from Beijing, China. Master Zhao is a legendary qigong master and his contribution to energy healing is extraordinary. Zhao pioneered the process of diagnosis via scanning human body without instruments and qi therapy, a process that can sends qi to the patient’s body to cure. These processes have helped tens of thousands of people around the world for over 30 years. In 2005, Dr. Sheu received his Master’s degree in TCM at ACCHS in Oakland, California. In 2006, he founded the California Traditional Articulated Healing Center.
